Stefan started Taylor Patrick in 2007 and continues to lead the growing team based in New Plymouth. With more than 25 years of professional experience in the industry, Stefan has worked on major projects across New Zealand and the UK.
In his spare time Stefan enjoys surfing the breaks of the Taranaki coastline, spending time with his wife and two boys tramping the many trails around Taranaki maunga, mountain biking at Lake Mangamahoe and hitting the ski slopes.
Born and raised in Taranaki, Josh was drawn to the surveying industry because of the opportunity to work outside in nature and the varied work.
Securing his degree at Otago University, Josh specialises in the engineering aspect of surveying and drone piloting.
When he’s not at work, you’ll find Josh driving a digger or tractor on his parents farm, or preparing for the annual trip to Invercargill for duck shooting opening weekend.
With 10-years experience in land development under his belt, Sam is passionate about cadastral surveying, civil design and working in collaboration with local iwi, ecologists and landscape architects to produce a quality outcome for the client.
Sam’s spare time is spent cherishing every moment with his young family, enjoying New Plymouth’s beaches, coffee, eateries and bush walks. As a keen cricketer and golfer, any opportunity is taken to get on the pitch or course.
Bryce is our Taylor Patrick’s Survey Assistant. As a semi-retired dairy farmer, he enjoys the hands-on aspect of the role, getting stuck-in on site and putting his skills to good use. Bryce enjoys building relationships with the team and being part of the Taylor Patrick family.
When he’s not on site you’ll find Bryce spending time with his grandchildren on the farm, enjoying what Taranaki has to offer with his wife, Tracy, or out on the golf course.
After a stint in the Australian Outback and Canada, Thomas returned home to Taranaki and has been working at Taylor Patrick since 2016. Drawn to the industry for the outdoor work, Thomas specialises in cadastral, engineering and planning.
As a family man, Thomas’ weekends are spent enjoying what Taranaki has to offer — surfing, sailing, hunting and mountain biking, enjoying kai (particularly pizza), and chipping away at one of the projects he has in the works.
With a degree in marketing and commercial law from Victoria, Wellington, Karl is our up-and-coming Survey Technician — currently studying toward his Diploma in Surveying from Toi-Ohomai institute of Technology. Enjoying the mixture of office and field work, it was an easy career pivot.
Karl’s weekends are kept very busy with his young family, a couple of dogs and renovating his home. Not to mention a mild obsession with hype sneakers.
Mum of two, Amanda is the Financial Manager for Taylor Patrick. She spends her work days managing the finance and administrative operations of the business from the centrally located office.
In her downtime, Amanda loves to get out into nature, especially tramping on Taranaki Maunga. Next on her hit list is ticking off New Zealand’s Great Walks, before setting her sights a bit further and heading abroad for tramping adventures.
Currently studying a Bachelor of Surveying at the University of Otago, Ethan is our resident Student Surveyor. As a keen competitor in map sport series and multi-day adventure-navigation events, it was only natural that this interest in maps became a career!
When he’s not at mahi or studying, Ethan’s probably getting amongst the local bike trails or lapping up the exceptional flatting standards in Dunedin.
We're enthusiastic about our industry and excited to take the dreams of our clients and make them a reality. Our small team of dedicated experts work efficiently to ensure your project is enjoyable, successful and affordable.
We're always available and eager to chat about your project, no matter how big or how small.
